I had a great experience at Monte D'Oro. the location in the mountains was perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room, located in a separate building behind the main hotel, had a lovely view of the mountains. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and had a memorable dinner at the hotel. the calm setting and access to hiking trails were added bonuses. The main building also had a beautiful and character-filled atmosphere, adding to the overall charm of the hotel. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 🌟.

The rooms at Hotel Monte d'Oro were absolutely stunning! I loved waking up to the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It made me feel like I was living in a painting. The en suite bathroom added a touch of luxury to my stay, making me feel pampered and relaxed.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathtubs or showers in the bathrooms. I prefer a quick shower in the morning, so having a bathtub felt unnecessary to me.

During our Easter stay, we enjoyed two great features offered by the hotel. the charm of the property was undeniable, with its old-fashioned grandeur and an ambiance that felt like stepping back in time. Secondly, the gastronomic delights at the restaurant were a true highlight. The regional family recipes served in generous portions left us satisfied and impressed. Additionally, the location of the hotel was key, as it was surrounded by a peaceful forest and close to the GR20 trail, making it convenient for hikers.
Despite the positive aspects, there were some downsides to our experience. The first disappointment was the accommodation.
